DEPARTMENT OF HINDI

The Deportment aims to develop the ability to use Hindi correctly and fluently and to lay a foundation for an understanding of culture presented by the language and appreciation of its literary values. 

Basic Certificate  Courses HI 101 – 102 Hindi I Prerequisite: Permission of the Dean Introduction to the basics of the Hindi language skills of  Grammatical Formation and to understand while one reads. Designed only for those non – Indian, non =Hindi speaking students who wish to take it meet the second or first language requirement which they failed to meet at the Hindi Proficiency test. Credit does applies toward requirement. after learning they can understand form of Hindi in a sentences and understand any sentences.

HI 111 -112 Hindi Language Skills A study of the Hindi language grammar and composition at writing level.  Extensive reading, oral and written practices expected. if a student planning to join this course either must have passing result of Proficiency test of ETA or must submit of certificate of Basic Hindi from outside.

 HI 114 Speaking and Translating  A fluent speaking in Hindi as a Native Speakers and A detailed study of various methods of translation and problems to provide  ability to the students to translate from English  to Hindi or Tamil to Hindi and vice versa.

Advanced Biblical English Grammar – ABEG

1. Advanced Homiletics II: This is an art of Preaching; this is a study of how to preach in English as a Topical, Textual, Expository, and (Exegesis) Exegetical Messages.

2. Advanced Bible Difficulties (Old Testament – Hebrew): A study of hidden the things in the Bible like “Curse God and Die,” said Job’ wife. Is job’s wife Good or Bad?

3. Advanced Biblical Word Power (Old Testament – Hebrew): Knowing Vocabularies of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and understand the Biblical meaning of a Word, Phrases, Idioms, Synonyms, Antonyms, Homophones, and Homographs

4. Biblical Style Sermon Translation: After Biblical Style of English Speaking Set up from Genesis to Revelation, it can be taught to learners how to translate while others preach
